Our Leadership

Dr Linden R Brown - Chairman

Linden has worked as a management consultant, academic and an entrepreneur in start-up organizations. For more than 20 years he has worked with multi-national firms in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific to develop their market-focus capabilities and business strategies. He has had Visiting Professor appointments at several universities including INSEAD (France), Cranfield (England) and the University of Technology, Sydney (Australia). Linden has published 14 books on management, marketing and strategy.

Dr Chris L. Brown - CEO

Chris is a keynote speaker, author and CEO of MarketCulture a firm that specializes in working with companies to create customer-obsessed cultures.

He is the co-author of the award winning book, The Customer Culture Imperative which won Marketing Book of the Year in 2015. His previous post as Marketing Director for Hewlett-Packard provided him firsthand experience of the challenges facing leaders trying to create a stronger external focus. Chris has consulted with more than 50 of the Fortune 500 companies as well as 100s of SMEs around the world. He also served for 4 years as EVP for the American Marketing Association in Silicon Valley.

He received his Doctorate of Business Administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.

Sean Crichton-Browne - Head of Global Partnerships & Customer Engagement

Sean’s role with MarketCulture is to build Global Partnerships and support customer engagements, whether directly with MarketCulture or with our Accredited Partners. He has wide business experience in how companies develop a focus around customers that helps them to grow and prosper. He has deep knowledge and experience in sales and sales management and has owned and managed his own solutions company for more than 25 years in Sydney. Sean works with MarketCulture clients and accredited partners to identify their needs and what solutions are relevant to satisfying those needs. He has particular knowledge and experience in the service and technology industries.

Jef Teugels, CCXP - CEO MarketCulture


Jef has been working internationally for three decades with stock-listed enterprises, SMEs, and start-ups. His work focuses on the force field created by the overlap of customer behavior, organizational readiness, and exponential technologies. Jef's main job is to assist our clients in letting the energy in that force field not go to waste. Instead, he makes sure our clients use it to their customers' and employees' advantage in a unique mix of leadership and sustainability.

Debi Garrod - UK and Middle East Lead Accredited Partner​

Debi is an established corporate psychologist, change mentor, strategic facilitator, coach and trainer.  She helps to shape and build leadership and talent to develop healthy, thriving, customer-focused organizations. An understanding of psychology, human behaviour, habits, generational mindsets and neuroscience supports transformation through change and learning journeys whilst minimising the ‘pain’.  Resulting in enhanced personal and business performance.  She works globally with a wide spectrum of clients in private and public sectors.

Danielle Macinnis, Senior Customer Engagement Consultant

Dan is a highly sort after strategic marketer, HR professional and management consultant. Her focus has always been on understanding customer needs and company insights to deliver programs that work.
With more than 20 years marketing and HR experience with many of the world's leading corporate companies, she is recognised as both a talented practitioner and coach. She has deep social media marketing skills and blogs regularly as a business expert on customer centricity.

April Cantwell, PhD - Director of Research

April is an experienced, dynamic consultant with solid experience helping organizations enhance performance through their talent strategies. She is an expert in applied research, statistical analysis, assessment design, survey development, workforce analytics and in helping organizations use data to make better decisions. She enables clients to drive results by adopting a consultative approach that brings together deep experience, effective problem-solving strategies, innovativeness, and by taking ownership of a project's success.

Hjalte K. Hojsgaard, Engagement Manager and MRI Model Testing

Hjalte has a background in international business and information systems. His specialty lies in ensuring alignment between strategy, market-driven processes and systems and the various layers of the enterprise architecture. His experience ranges from work in start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises. Hjalte is IPMA certified and is skilled in directing complex projects and programs. This includes working closely with client teams to improve business capability and performance.

Sean M. Gallagher, Leadership and Culture Expert

Sean is an expert in leadership, marketing and business culture. He has worked with both CEOs on strategic issues and front line employees to bring strategies to life. He was a former Lecturer in Marketing at Boston University, and an invited speaker in Europe, North America, and Australia on the topics of leadership, marketing and culture change. Sean conducts organization culture assessments, consults to senior executives and delivers high-impact workshops that provide skills to facilitate change.

Lucas Coffeen, Business Analyst and Project Manager

Lucas has a background in organization assessment and transformation services. He has spent several years researching, writing, and consulting on the development of market-driven organizations. He manages culture assessments and reporting at client firms and leads the development of new tools for measuring client capabilities. He also provides best practice advice for transformations at Fortune 500 companies as well as for small to medium size organizations.
